Heating elements are used to maintain temperature and reduce humidity in electrical panels, automation cabinets, ATMs, payment terminals, and other electronic devices. Previously, incandescent lamps were used for these purposes – but it is clear that this method does not meet the strict requirements imposed on modern electrical equipment and electronics. Today, almost all manufacturers switch to PTC heaters, which not only provide heating but also guarantee operational safety and durability.

All heaters are equipped with electronic surface overheating protection, providing an additional guarantee of safe operation.

Due to the high demands placed on housing heaters, Plastim has paid the greatest attention to the selection of component suppliers. For example, the PTC heater supplier is the same Schneider Electric, and the terminal block for electrical connection of all components is custom-made by the Italian company KORNER. The plastic used to make this block has a very important property: when heated, it not only retains its shape and does not deform but also emits no odors, thus releasing no harmful carcinogenic substances into the atmosphere.
