Digital overvoltage relay with LED display 3×3 digits TRM-50

The digital overload relay TRM-50 is designed to protect loads from damage caused by high current, while allowing operational control.

Device usage and operating principle

1. Connect the device according to the included wiring diagram.
2. After wiring, connect the power supply. After powering on, the set values will be displayed on the screen for 5 seconds.
3. Use the "A>" controller to set the overload value. The set value is displayed on the left screen.
4. Set the delay time with the "t" controller. The set value is also displayed on the left screen.

When the device is on:

• The relay is activated, the output contact switches to terminal 3 and the OUT indicator lights up.
• If the current exceeds the set overload value (A>), the device counts the delay time and the ERR indicator lights up.
• When the time elapses, the relay trips, the contact switches to terminal 1 and the OUT indicator goes out.

The TRM-50 series electronic current relay is designed to automatically disconnect consumers when maximum permissible currents are exceeded. It has programmable trip range, trip time and inverse trip settings. There are 3 modes for returning to "operating" state - MANUAL, SEMI-AUTO, AUTO.

Recovery Modes

• Manual Mode: To reset the device after an overload, press the Reset button. The corresponding LED will light up.
• Semi-automatic mode: Allows the device to automatically reset the system three times when an overload occurs and waits for a manual reset after the next error. The corresponding LED will light up.
• Automatic mode: The device allows the system to automatically reset every time an overload error occurs. The corresponding LED will light up.

Note: To change the mode, hold the SELECT button for 10 seconds. After changing the mode, the corresponding LED will light up.

Current asymmetry 50% (fixed)

If the difference between the maximum and minimum current in the phases exceeds 50%, the device will enter asymmetry error mode within 2 seconds (protecting the system from damage when one phase is lost).

When an asymmetry error occurs:

• The indicator group for the two phases that caused the error will flash and the ERR indicator will light up.
• To exit asymmetry error mode, a manual reset is required.
