18-step + TCR power factor controller for symmetrical/asymmetrical networks with 5-inch touchscreen and RS-485 (TENSE)
Reactive power control relays are designed to reduce the reactive power (inductive and capacitive) that is not consumed by the load and is taken from the network. When inductive power is taken from the network, it intervenes by removing a capacitor of the appropriate value. If capacitive power is taken from the network, it intervenes by taking a shunt inductor of the appropriate value. This attempts to reduce the inductive/active and capacitive/active rates of the system. It is designed to provide more acceptable compensation in unbalanced inductive and capacitive systems with the RGT-MT18 TCR step
