Impact-resistant, sealed plastic enclosure with IP67 protection and mounting plate, Plastim (Turkey).

A plastic enclosure with IP67 protection offers several significant advantages, especially when used in harsh environments:

High protection against moisture and dust:

This means the enclosure is completely protected from dust and can withstand temporary immersion in water up to 1 meter deep for 30 minutes, making it ideal for installation in damp or dusty areas, such as outdoors, industrial zones, or near water bodies.

Corrosion resistance:

Unlike metal panels, plastic does not rust, which is particularly valuable in aggressive environments – by the sea, in chemical plants, or in businesses with high humidity.

Lightweight and easy to install:

A plastic enclosure is much lighter than a metal one, making it easier to transport and install, especially in hard-to-reach places.

Dielectric properties:

Plastic does not conduct electricity, increasing safety when working with electrical equipment and reducing the risk of short circuits.

UV resistance:

If special UV-resistant plastic is used, the enclosure retains its properties for a long time even when continuously exposed to sunlight.
