Product Description

The Tense SSR-09 relay is a modern device designed for automatic water level control in boilers, storage tanks, and water heaters.
It ensures reliable water supply, timely pump shutdown, and most importantly, effective protection of the electric heating element from dry operation.

The device monitors the water level using capacitive electrodes and automatically controls the pump and heater based on the current situation in the tank.

Operating Principle

The SSR-09 operates with two electrodes in the tank:

1. Lower electrode (minimum level)

   • When the water level drops below this electrode, the relay turns on the pump and starts pumping water.

2. Upper electrode (max. level)

   • Once the upper level is reached, the relay automatically switches off the pump.

3. Safety electrode at the heating element

   • If there is no water at the heater, the relay switches off the heater's power supply, protecting it from overheating.

This smart logic ensures safe and economical operation of the entire system.

Installation and Connection

• Mounting on a standard DIN rail in a cabinet.
