The DS-48 pulse counter is a versatile dual-input panel meter with two 4-digit LED displays (current value + target value). It can count, subtract and process signals from mechanical switches, PNP/NPN inductive sensors and incremental encoders. With a wide range of input and output functions, this counter is suitable for industrial automation systems, production lines, measurement stations and process control.

Installation recommendations

• Use shielded and twisted signal cables, ground the shield

• Separate signal wires from power and mains cables

• Use an F250 mA / 250 VAC fuse on the power input

• Protect the equipment from moisture, vibrations, dust and extreme temperatures

• For mechanical switches, it is recommended to set the input frequency to 20 Hz.

• When using two inputs:

• Phs4 mode → max. ¼ of the input frequency

• Modes 1u2u, 1u2d, Phs2 → max. ½ of the input frequency
