DS-72A Pulse Counter - 2 × 6 Digit LED Display, 2 × Relay, 2 × SSR Output

Product Description

The DS-72A pulse counter is a professional device designed for precise counting of pulses from mechanical switches, limit switches, PNP/NPN inductive sensors, and incremental encoders. It supports up and down counting, offers a combination of input functions, and flexible output configuration.

With two 6-digit LED displays and the ability to set PRESET1 and PRESET2 values, it provides clear visibility of the counted value and target value. EEPROM memory ensures settings are saved even after power loss.

Key Features

  • 2 × 6-digit LED display showing current value and PRESET

  • 2× Output Relays (SPDT)

  • 2× SSR output (NPN, max 30 V / 100 mA)

  • Up/Down counting

  • Password protection

  • Adjustable input frequency: 20, 50, 2500, 7500 Hz

  • Calibration constant: 0.00001 to 9.99999

  • Selectable decimal point: 0 / 0.0 / 0.00 / 0.000

  • Combinable functions: addition, subtraction, pause, input negation, edge combination

  • Adjustable "OFFSET" values

  • PRESET1 with absolute / relative value option

  • Remembers output relay status and value after power failure

Technical Parameters

  • Dimensions / opening: 72×72×94 mm / 67×67 mm

  • LED display: 2× 6-digit 7-segment

  • Indicator LEDs: 5× (OUT1, OUT2, Finger1, Finger2, Batch)

  • Inputs: 2× (5-30 V, max 7500 Hz)

  • Input types: mechanical switch, PNP/NPN inductive sensor, NPN/PNP/totem pole encoder

  • Reset input: PNP, min 10 ms, 5-30 V

  • Relay outputs: 2× SPDT 250 VAC, 2 A (resistive load)

  • SSR outputs: 2 × NPN, max 30 V / 100 mA

  • Sensor power supply: 12 VDC, max 50 mA

  • Device power supply: 100-240 V AC, 50-60 Hz

  • Power consumption: < 8 VA

  • Operating temperature: -20 °C ... +55 °C

  • Altitude: < 2000 m

Applications

  • Pulse counting in mechanical and electrical equipment

  • Production and machine monitoring

  • Encoder and mechanical process control

  • Industrial applications requiring precise measurements and relay/SSR outputs

Installation and Safety

  • Panel/cabinet mounting

  • Use shielded and twisted signal cables, ground the shield

  • Protect cables from electrical noise, switches, and inductive loads

  • Protect equipment from moisture, vibration, dirt, and extreme temperatures

  • Use F250 mA / 250 VAC fuse on the power input

  • Observe safety regulations and use appropriate cables
