Atvirkštinio kumštelio sukamasis jungiklis skirtas trifazių elektros variklių sukimosi krypčiai pakeisti. Prietaisas leidžia saugiai perjungti dešiniojo (P) ir kairiojo (L) variklio veikimo kryptį su galimybe greitai išsijungti "0" padėtyje.
