Phase Control Relay FKV-11 | TENSE

The FKV-11 phase control relay is designed to protect three-phase equipment from major faults in the electrical network, especially from phase failure (phase sequence reversal), phase loss, and phase asymmetry. The relay ensures reliable operation of electric motors, pumps, compressors, and other three-phase equipment.

The model has a fixed 30% asymmetry and is designed for mounting on a single DIN rail.

How the FKV-11 relay works (operating algorithm)

Normal operation

• All three phase voltages are present.

• Phases are connected in the correct order.

• Voltage is within the permissible range.

• 2-3 contacts are switched, OUT LED → output active.

Asymmetry or voltage deviation

• If the voltage of one phase changes by more than 30% or if the sum of multi-directional changes exceeds this limit:

  • the ASM LED lights up (asymmetry indication),

  • contacts 2-3 disconnect,

  • contacts 1-2 engage,

  • OUT LED turns off.

Return to normal position

• If the voltage returns to the permissible range,

• the relay will re-enable the output, and the contacts will switch back to 2-3 normally closed.
