We are delighted to introduce a new product line – cam switches manufactured by the Turkish company Opas.

Principal Electric Company is introducing a new series of cam switches manufactured by Opas (Turkey). Opas commenced operations in 1982 in Istanbul. For 40 years, the company has been offering innovative solutions in the field of cam switches and successfully exports its products to 20 different countries.

Cam switches are designed for:

• controlling mechanisms driven by three-phase and single-phase motors, changing the winding connection of AC motors (star-delta), changing the direction of rotation;
• control and signaling in operating circuits;
• ensuring switching of operating modes for heating devices;
• switching on and off the drive mechanisms of sectional disconnectors in transformer substations.

Our new series of rotary switches offers a wide range of connections based on the number of poles and rated current.

You can choose a switch according to its purpose and the technical characteristics of the circuit.
For example, to switch a line load on or off, select the "0-1" scheme, and to switch to a parallel line (reverse load, backup power) - "1-2" or "1-0-2".
If you need to switch between different operating modes of the device (e.g., speed, heating temperature), you will need the "0-1-2-3" scheme.
In addition, you can choose a special switch for a voltmeter or ammeter, as well as a "star/delta" switch.
